The website sets no cookies and creates no user profiles.

Server logs: When pages are requested, the web server necessarily processes IP address, time and requested page (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR – operation and security). Logs are deleted automatically after a short period. Hosting in the EU (Hetzner, Germany/Finland).

Spam protection: The form uses ALTCHA, a self-hosted protection without cookies or third parties: your browser solves a small computational task; no personal data is transferred.

Waitlist

When you sign up, we process your email address, your answers to the two questions in the form, the page language and the campaign tag of the link you came from (UTM parameters). Purpose: to inform you about Klarnext and the test phase and to understand which channels create interest.

The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). We use double opt-in: you're only on the list once you click the link in the confirmation email; the time of sign-up and confirmation is stored as proof. You can withdraw consent at any time – via the unsubscribe link in every email or by writing to hello@klarnext.com.

The data is stored in self-hosted newsletter software (Mautic) on servers in the EU. We delete it when you unsubscribe or if Klarnext does not launch.

Your rights

Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, objection, and complaint to the Austrian Data Protection Authority (dsb.gv.at).
